Spain wins the 2012 UEFA Futsal EURO Championship as they came from behind 0-1 to win 3-1 in extra times over Russia. Pula (Russia) scored in the 33:15 minute. Barcelona FC's Lozano (Spain) scored 39:26 just before the game ended sending into extra time. Lozano scored again in the 7:58 (extra time) to give Spain the lead. Luis Amado (Spain) scored just before the extra time ended to secure Spain's victory. This is Spain's 4th straight UEFA Futsal EURO Crown and 6th total crowns since the launch in 1995/1996. Total attendance of around 90,000 for these finals smashes the record -

Tomorrow begins the 2011 Futsal Grand Prix in Brazil. The Grand Prix de Futsal is an international futsal competition of the same kind of the FIFA Futsal World Championship but with invited nations and held annually in Brazil. It was first held in 2005. There are 16 teams in 4 groups. This year US Futsal National Team is participating in Group C. Among in their group is Iran, Uruguay and Belgium. US will have a very tough task as Sunday USA takes on Uruguay then Monday USA faces a very tough Iran. On September 12-15, US had it's first ever Futsal ID Camp then Futsal Training Camp September 24 through October 1 in Torrence California. US Futsal has taking a major step this past week with their first ever ID camp in Torrance, California. 42 players worked extremely hard for all three days.The coaching staff headed by head coach Keith Tozer was extremely happy with their efforts along with their Futsal ability. "I could not be more happier with the quality of players and how much our Futsal players have improved"
Players attending this weeks ID camp will be notified within the next several days about their selection to the US Futsal National team pool and also their selection to next weeks full USFNT training camp September 24-October 1 again at the oustanding Futsal facility of "Soccer City" in Torrance, California!

Anaheim, California July 16, 2011. Keith Tozer, Head Coach of the US Mens National Futsal Teams announces the first ever National ID Camp. September 12-15 in Torrance, CA. The purpose of the camp is to identify players to be identified for the selection of the US National Team to represent our country in the upcoming futsal events, the most prominent of which is the Futsal World Cup in 2012.

As reported to John Sciore, Development Director of US Youth Futsal, Keith is looking for two groups of players. Immediately, he wants players that are currently ready to play at the highest International level. The other group of players are 17 - 21 years of age who are development prospects for the 2016 Futsal World Cups.

Super F League changed its name to reflect its prominence in the sport and to more clearly underscore its national influence in developing Futsal. We now operate as United States Youth Futsal and United States Adult Futsal.

About United States Youth Futsal - formerly known as Super F League, USYF is the largest US Soccer affiliated Futsal organization in the United States. Launched in 2004, USYF offers amateur soccer players an opportunity to play organized Futsal in local leagues. The clinic will kick off the Super F League Champions Cup – National Futsal Tournament, February 19 and 20. Teams from across the country will attend as they vie for US National Futsal titles from U8 - Adult, boys and girls.
The clinic will focus on offensive and defensive tactics, training techniques, restart plays and much more. All coaches, players and parents of players are invited to attend this exciting session!
The clinic is non-participatory for the players. The U16 Sporting KC Juniors will demonstrate, under the guidance of Coach Tozer.

The 2011 Super F Champions Cup-United States National Futsal Tournament in the Kansas City Area will be held February 18-20, 2011. Super F Champions Cup is the only National Futsal Tournament sanctioned by United States Soccer Federation.
In addition to the traditional Premier level division, Super F League has added another division to the Champions Cup called the Super Group Division. This division will be made up of all-star or state level teams and compete in their own division........ read more

Premier Division
The teams in this division are the same caliber of teams that have competed in past Champion Cups. Age groups accepted are U8 – Adult boys and girls. Teams in this division are:

Very competitive with skilled - very skilled players
Teams that play in a futsal league and will use all or most of their current league futsal league roster to play in the Cup.
They would not be classified as hand picked all-star teams.
Outdoor teams that are in the top of their leagues, but are not playing against academy or elite level teams

Where appropriate, there will be Premier Level 1 and level II brackets

Super Group

The teams in this new division would seek the highest competitive level of futsal possible. Age groups accepted are U10- U18, boys and girls. Teams in this division are:

All-star team put together with the specific purpose of playing the highest level of futsal possible
A team that does not play futsal, but consist of elite / highly skilled players
Teams that consist of players who are on their club’s academy or highest level team
Outdoor teams that consistently compete for their state titles.
ODP teams

Teams in the Super Group must be accepted by the Cup Committee. Teams are urged to include information in their registration regarding the make up of their team, outdoor record and futsal history

The committee has the sole authority in making this selection and/or inviting teams at their own discretion.

This is the video featuring Kansas City Wizards Junior U14 (2 teams) Teams at the 2010 Super F Champions Cup in Overland/Shawnee Kansas this past February. KCW JR Mali won the U15 Boys Division Title. Kansas City Wizards Junior is a Junior program of the Kansas City Wizards. KCW Jr have a U14, U16 and U18 program. U14 Boys were the ones competing in the 2010 Super F Champions Cup. The KCW Jr's Technical Staff Quoted "the KCW Juniors Technical Staff believes that Futsal is a huge part of player development".

Super F Futsal Regionals is coming. With the success of the Super F Champions Cup, Super F Futsal League announced the exciting Regional Futsal Tournament. Super F Champions Cup is the only US Soccer sanctioned national tournament in the US.Starting this weekend Super F Futsal Regionals will begin in Richmond, VA. The Mid Atlantic Regionals will be held December 18 & 19 at the U-Turn Sports Academy in Richmond. This particular Regional will be the Men's Open.

This Futsal Video features what Futsal is all about. Futsal is FIFA's official indoor soccer game which is, essentially, a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a small sided game (5v5) played on a smaller field (roughly basketball court sized) with a smaller (size 3-4) ball. Futsal is played with touchline boundaries. There are no walls in play. Futsal develops better skills and promotes quality touches. Super F League quotes "A small field with lines puts players constantly under pressure from other players and out-of-play boundaries. The League: Albuquerque Super F League LLC is the only USSF ( U.S. Soccer Federation) sanctioned indoor soccer league in New Mexico. The USSF, is not just a self proclaimed federation. Soon there will also be more age groups including adult men's and women's divisions. The adult division will be a higher level than the other futsal league here in town. There will be a series of Futsal Video's from the Super F Champions Cup (Futsal Nationals). I video's various matches during this two day tournament. The tournament was held on February 14 & 15 at 4 different facilities in the Kansas City Area. Many facilities hosted as many as four games at a time. I videoed age groups from U11 all the way to Adult for Male and U 11 or U13 through High School for the ladies. The best Futsal Teams in the Country participated in this spectacular event. Ages were actually U9 through Adults. There was even a Canadian National Team there as well. Toronto Cruz Azul were Canadian National Futsal Champions. I took several video's of them as well. I have a photo of myself with the team as well. This team was exciting to watch so watch out for their video's.
I will go in more details as time passes. I need to get back to the video's so the world can also enjoy them.

U13 Ladies Copa Inverno Final-Albuquerque Super F League

Here is the first video of the 2009 Copa Inverno. This was the U13 Girls Championship Final. Two great teams battling for the trophy. Previously unbeaten Rio Vista FC Aguila's vs. Rio Vista FC Lemon Heads. Aguila's has great speed, ball control and great attack. Lemon Heads are tall, have good ball control and are very strong defensively. That proved to be the case in this game. Aguila's won the previous two meetings but it was a different outcome in this game. Two great teams that deserve the title but only one can win the beautiful trophy. Enjoy the Video.

U13 Semi Finals Boys: Brasil vs. Toros and Churros vs. Fuego. Very exciting video's.
U13 Finals: Brasil vs. Churros.
U13 Girls Finals: Lemon Heads vs. Aguilas. Two outstanding teams. It was a well played final. Shame to see anyone lose this match as both deserved to win the trophy.
Youth 10 Final: Aztecas vs. United. Repeat of last summers' final. Two vastly improved teams.

Video's will begin to be published this weekend. It will take a week to get all 4 published.

The Host Russia wins the UEFA U21 Futsal Tournament today in St. Petersburg today. They edged Italy for the crown. Congratulations. Russia wins with it's home court advantage. Italy has featured great Futsal Teams and I am sure this time was no exception.
I sure wish US had more Futsal Coverage which is pretty much does not exist here. It makes me want to create more Futsal Video's and more coverage to get the word out and show how exciting Futsal is.

UEFA U21 Futsal Final is Set!-Italy vs. Russia

The UEFA U21 Futsal Final is set. Italy vs. (Host) Russia. Should be a great final. Normally I would pick Italy but Russia will fight hard in front of their fans. It should be a great defensive game. I would love to see this match but it appears US is not carrying. I will check to make sure. It would be so sweet to see this final. If you want to see great Futsal, watch this match if you have an opportunity.

UEFA U21 Futsal Tournament

Tomorrow, the UEFA U21 Futsal Tournament continues. Competing for the final four spots. Spain, Ukrain, Russia and Italy will be the final four. The semi finals will be played on December 12 with the Championship on December 14. It would be so sweet if it was televised here in the US but it appears it may not be. I pray to God someday it will be shown.

Albuquerque Super F League-Exciting Start

We are off to a very exciting start of Albuquerque Super F League's Winter Futsal Season.

Two weeks under our belts. The level of Futsal has really elevated. Some very good and exciting new teams. Our last Summer Futsal Teams are doing very well as their futsal experience is really showing on the court.

This week we had our defending U12 Male Champions playing against a bigger U13 team which placed very well in the outdoor Soccer League. The game ended in a exciting draw. Big team with exciting futsal skills against a smaller, very quick with speed and great passing which resulted in a draw. Both were winners. We will see another great U13 team for the first time next week after competing in Dallas. Hopefully the did well in Dallas. This Male Division will be very exciting with some very skilled teams.

U12/13: Four very good and exciting teams with quickness, skill and very determined. Two teams have two wins and two teams have two losses. The two teams with the two losses are still very good. They lost to a bigger and year older team. One team only had 5 players with no bench today and stayed with them through out most of the game. They lost a bit of steam (still fought very hard) towards the end as the 5 players played all 40 minutes. The other team (which is the strongest so far) had depth on the bench and wore out the smaller but very determined team. All four teams in the U12/13 Division should be very proud of them selves so far. They have a great future in Futsal. As good as they are right now, I am very confident they will get even better. By season end, we will have 4 very outstanding Female Futsal Teams. They should be proud.

Albuquerque Super F League is very proud of our 16 teams. We are looking forward to them being part of our exciting league. Stay tuned for photos and Video highlights through out this Winter Futsal Season.

Spaces are filling up fast and space is limited. I highly recommend registering for our exciting league today. Albuquerque Super F League is New Mexico's Premier Futsal League. We play at the beautiful state of the art JCC on Wyoming between Spain and Academy.
Albuquerque JCC's Gymnasium offers the premier futsal facility in New Mexico. Bleacher seating, on the side of the court, offers fans a great view while keeping them safe. The floor is state of the art Sports Flooring for low impact and safety. The JCC facility provides clean restrooms, small cafe, and AC/Heating for futsal participants. 5520 WYOMING BLVD NE. The League: Albuquerque Super F League LLC is the only USSF ( U.S. Soccer Federation) sanctioned indoor soccer league in New Mexico. The USSF, is not just a self proclaimed federation. They have been granted this position by the highest of soccer authority, FIFA. Currently the Youth Division is in full swing. The future of Futsal. Soon there will also be more age groups including adult men's and women's divisions. The adult division will be a higher level than the other futsal league here in town. The super f league is ran by soccer players bringing in high level adult men's and women's teams. Other futsal league have too many young teen teams to make it competitive. We will have the top men's players in town, offering a great men's division. Nationally, Super F League is the fastest growing Futsal Organization in the Country

A big congratulations to Brazil for winning a extremely hard fought Futsal World Cup. It took a Penalty Kick Phase to beat a extremely tough defending Champion Spain. Nice goals and some nice blocks by the goalie. Both teams should be proud but Brazil, you showed the world what the beautiful game of Futsal is all about.

Now it is time to prepare for the next World Cup in 4 years. US and other nations need to learn from this experience and build on it. US needs to build a solid Futsal program. From the Youth to the Adults. I am very disappointed on how US Media has covered the sport. Tape delayed coverage which was broadcast (in the most part) very late. Very little promotion on the Futsal World Cup. US Soccer Federation needs to push the game of Futsal much harder. I know Futsal can succeed in many levels in the US if given chance. I feel as though if we do not win something, we do not promote the sport. US in previous years has done well this time they had a very poor showing. Playing 10-15 games in a year will not cut it. Many nations have league's which they play over 100 games in a year. I stated before "Futsal should become a High School and College Sport". Plus in the future, Futsal would make a great Winter Sport during MLS and USSL off season. Maybe it is something MLS and USSL should get involved more. According to one article, Iran maybe the next host of FIFA Futsal World Cup 2012.

Super F league's Website States "Futsal is FIFA's official indoor soccer game which is, essentially, a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a small sided game (5v5) played on a smaller field (roughly basketball court sized) with a smaller (size 3-4) ball. Futsal is played with touchline boundaries. There are no walls in play. Futsal develops better skills and promotes quality touches. Super F League quotes "A small field with lines puts players constantly under pressure from other players and out-of-play boundaries. Players must learn to settle the ball rapidly, cut sharply, shield effectively, pass quickly and move into space". Futsal places a greater premium on ball control".

I have read there is a bid to bring Futsal to 2012 Olympics which would be great. More to follow on that subject.

Congratulations Italy winning Bronze-2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup

Congratulations Italy for winning the bronze, 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup. Italy may not have won the big prize but they should be proud. Russia had a good run too. I saw the highlights on http://fifa.com it was a hard fought game. Love Italy's two goals. The ball just went under the goals cross bar. Sweet. Russia's goal was a nice touch pass to another Russian player who put another nice touch for their goal. One Russian player had two yellow cards which resulted in a red card. One was a nasty trip and the second was a hard foul Ouch. The Italian player fell kind of hard. There were some nice saves during the game. Prior, The Futsal World Cup has been sluggish but the finals are showing the best Futsal Teams in the World. The Final Four Teams are the best four in the world.

Now tomorrow it is the big game. Brazil vs. Spain. Two of the best. The only two teams that have ever won the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Brazil the first three, Spain the last two. Tomorrow, winner takes all. The Big Prize. Tomorrow a team will be crowned 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup Champion. It will be sweet. You can count on Brazil having a strong attack. We will see if Spain's defense can shut down Brazil's tough attack. We will see if Spain will make it three in a row or Brazil will reclaim the big prize.
My pick: Brazil 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup Champions. Who knows. We will know tomorrow.

Futsal World Cup is heading to Semi Finals

Well. It is Russia againts Brazil and Spain againts Italy.
Four fine teams but one champion.
I will pick Brazil to beat Russia and Spain to squeek by Italy.
Many teams have struggled up to this point but now, we have four fine teams.
With Brazil's attack and home field, I still will pick Brazil to win it all.
The Semi Finals will be played on October 16.
It should be very exciting.

Futsal World Cup Continue

Brazil is showing the world who is the king of Futsal. They blanked Italy today. Falcao and the crew showing their stuff. Now they face Ukraine which will not be easy but I will pick Brazil to win.
Iran vs. Italy: Iran is better than I thought. Italy is good but they do not move the ball around as quickly as years past. I think Italy will squeak this one out.
Argentina vs. Russia; Argentina will win this one.
Paraguay vs. Spain: Spain the defending champs will win this match. Paraguay has not looked that great but qualified for the second round. Paraguay will fight hard.
Futsal depends on how you move the ball, pass, attack and of course score goals. Plus how well you defend.
Brazil and Spain so far have qualified to the final four which is no surprise to me. The other two teams will be determined on October 14. The semi finals are October 16.
Third place is on October 18 and the Championship is on October 19 in Rio de Jarneiro.
I love Futsal!!!

Futsal World Cup Update

Well, now the 2008 Futsal World Cup is in the 2nd Round.
It's down to Brasil, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Ukraine, Iran, Russia and Paraguay.
Brasil had a close one with Iran but I still feel they will win it all.
Italy and Spain will be tough as well. Italy does not move the ball around as quickly as they use to but they are still good. I think Iran is better than I originally thought.
I wish I get Galavision or any channels that cover Futsal World Cup. I would love to watch this very exciting tournament even though the quality of teams is down this time around. I don't care, I would just love to see Futsal.

I am praying some day Futsal is a major sport here in the US.
I would love to see Futsal in all levels not only in the US but world. The world is far ahead of us.
US played poorly in this World Cup. Many teams have league's which they play 100-120 games a year but US only plays 10 or so matches. US is going to fall behind if they do not push for more Futsal in the US. From the Youth League's, High School, Yes even college and develop a Pro Futsal League. That would be so awsome. The level of Futsal and Soccer will really rise. I think Futsal can really make some noise in the US. It will not be to the level of NBA, NFL and so on but I think if we had a Pro Futsal League here, it would work. Maybe the winter months would be the best. Futsal can really develop a Soccer players game. Imrove passing, create nice touches and more.

Futsal World Cup continued

I was a bit surprised that Spain drew against Iran. Spain is the defending Futsal World Cup Champion. I would have expected better.
I expected Uruguay to beat Libya but they drew as well.
Brasil vs. Solomon Islands: I knew this was going to be a beating but 21-0. Ouch. Brasil gave some serious Futsal lessons to Solomon Islands. I feel sorry for Solomon Islands. I hope they can regain the confidence after two beatings.
I didn't expect US to make it out of the group but it is disappointing to see the results. Young Futsal Team. Lack of professional Futsal Experience. USA's next game is against Thailand. It is US's only chance but it will be very tough.

I am disappointed in lack of Futsal coverage. It is tape delayed on Galavision which I do not receive. Futsal is a very exciting fun sport to watch. Futsal needs more respect. Futsal really develops soccer skills as I have seen great improvements in passing and better touches on the ball. Futsal is a sport for all ages. I highly recommend start Futsal at a very young age. It could develop their Futsal and Soccer Skills to a high level.

I did see some Futsal World Cup highlights on Gol TV News. I noticed some of the passing was not pretty. Some lack of defending as well. I have seen much better level of competition than what I saw in the highlights. I have to agree with someone. It will be between Spain, Brasil or Italy. I strongly believe Brasil will when the who thing if they continue to play the level they are capable of.

Futsal World Cup is on

The 2008 Futsal World Cup has kicked off. It was a blow out day.

USA is tought the game of Futsal by Paraguay.
Brazil gave a hard lesson to Japan.
Cuba. Wow, really poored it on againts Solomon Islands.
Italy squeeked by Thailand.

It will be a tough task for USA. Some nations have professional Futsal Teams. USA does not. USA has played around 10 games the past month. Nations with Professional Futsal Teams plays around 120 a year. USA needs Futsal in High School, College and Pro League. Winter would be a nice team in my opinion.
Looking forward to my Futsal World Cup. Let the Futsal Games Begin.

Wow! Our Video Shown on Gol TV's Soccer Cam

Thursday Night, one of my YouTube Video's that I had submitted was played towards the end of a new Show called Soccer Cam. It's on Gol TV every Thursday Night at 8PM Eastern Time. It plays again at Midnight Eastern Time as well. Soccer Cam is a weekly show where anyone can submit their home Soccer, Futsal or Freestyle Soccer Video's. Go to http://goltv.tv for more details. They played our Preseason Futsal Practices that took place last April. You may question the first goal. The long goal. What you do not see is the goalie side kick the ball to one of the players. The player trapped the ball, rolled up his leg to his chest. The ball dropped, he kicked the ball from one end of the court and it went in. I mistakenly cut the pass from the goalie to the player due to the camera jiggling. I almost lost control of the camera. Good thing, I regained control, it was a awesome goal. Also the ref and some other individuals stated, the ball never touched his hands. Where I was, I thought it did but I was incorrect. At least I got the goal from one end to the other on tape which you will see.
Anyway, see the clip submitted below. Gol TV re-edited the video for their program which they did a great job. Thank you Gol TV for showing our video. I will submit more very soon.

The registration for upcoming Winter Season (For Albuquerque Super F League) begins in October. Season begins early November.
